John Rayner

Biografia John Rayner is a Senior Director with HIMSS responsible for Europe, Middle East and Africa.Prior to joining HIMSS, John had a 36 year career in the English National Health Service, having first entered in 1979, he qualified as a Registered General Nurse shortly thereafter. John has broad NHS leadership experience having managed clinical services in acute hospitals, strategy in regional Health Authorities and operations in one of the largest Shared Service organisations in the UK.John was the CIO for an acute Hospital Trust in the North of England and Managing Director of The Health Informatics Service one of the largest and most successful IM&T shared service organisations in the NHS.He is keen hill walker and general outdoor enthusiast and takes a personal interest in animal welfare and woodland conservation.
